Ensure that .DAT files are deleted and not the .MDB file from the location of original working directory and also from the virtual store
If you canโt delete one file
Reboot your computer

EFT Data is locally Stored and not on Server
On the local C:\ drive create the working directory, a new one

Then close the EFT
Now, get all the data you have to the folder of new working directory in C:\ drive
Rename this currently existing folder of working directory
When you will open the EFT, you will be prompted by a message to specify the
Sage 50 data directory and working directory. Choose the existing Sage 50 data and new working directory
Now save these settings and then if asked to get the old company data deleted, select No
Working Folder or you MDB file are Corrupted
Close the EFT
Then go to working directory and delete all the files stored here
Then open the company and EFT. It should be able to import the vendors, employees and customers afresh
Then add the applicable vendor, employee banking info, customer in EFT again
